该管壁攀爬机器人进行了进一步的创新改良，在使其具有基本功能的前提上了，采用了360°无死角摄像监控、机械化防水、预防倒滑、机械臂平台转换等技术。攀爬机构由三个呈120°均匀分布的攀爬轮带装置构成，每一个攀爬轮带装置与外部框体机构之间通过两对连杆连接共限制三个自由度，各对连杆之间可以进行调节，有助于管道攀爬机器人更加适应不同径宽的作业管道。于此同时该攀爬机器人可以通过连杆处调节的缓冲适应不同管道小幅范围内的弯曲角度，使橡胶轮带与管道表面之间充分的接触。
